Back in 1998 I was studying Broadcast News in college and decided to intern for the summer with the Black Media Foundation. I lived in Brooklyn and would trek 2+ hours to the Bronx everyday for 3 months to try and hone my writing. Attached is a glimpse of the outcome discussing Police Corruption in NYC. Almost 20 years later and we’re still discussing the Wall of Silence issue within police ranks.
